Located on a new interchange of I-93 in Woburn, MetroNorth Corporate Center is strategically located just 2 miles from Route 128. National Development assembled the land from an environmental trust and private landowners for this first class office development. The project includes a build-to-suit for Raytheon's Corporate Headquarters, several other office buildings, an adjacent 180,000 square foot retail center anchored by a Target, a Marriott Residence Inn and a regional transportation center with Logan Express and MBTA commuter rail services. MetroNorth Corporate Center is a national model for the redevelopment of a superfund site to productive use. The project is also recognized as a national model for public private partnership and investment. The site involved private donation of land for a new interchange off Interstate 93 and private design and funding of MetroNorth subdivision road linking Woburn to the new interchange.
